So I’m apart of this group called State of the Art: Atlanta. What we do is throw art related events in the city. So far, we’ve done two art showcases and have been affiliated with other events as well. Although we’re currently focused on art, we plan on branching out showcasing other art forms and eventually do a film festival. All of our events are free, but to have them, we need money. So this upcoming Sunday, May 31, SOTAA is hosting a Sunday Fun Day of sorts at the park in order to raise money for our next art show in August. There will be food, drink, music, games and a 3 on 3 basketball tournament. Some of the games include dodge ball and a massive water balloon fight with over 1,000 water balloons. We’re also gonna have people doing henna tattoos and face painting. It’s gonna be so much fun so bring the whole family.
